Six states beneath ‘don’t journey’ warning

Amid bulletins of latest security issues in Mexico in the beginning of 2023, the official U.S. State Division journey advisories remained as they’d been for a number of months, with six states within the “don’t journey” classification.

The map above reveals the advisory stage for every Mexican state.

Stage 4: The six states with the “don’t journey” advisory, due to kidnappings and different crimes, are the northern border state of Tamaulipas, the central state of Zacatecas and the Pacific coast states of Sinaloa, Colima, Michoacán and Guerrero.
